A determined person can crop a page margin or substantially alter a document. Scoremark makes the responsible trade: preserve print quality and musical readability, while giving ordinary distributed copies a durable, authenticated path back to the sale.
Made for notation
Scoremark first verifies a clear page margin. Buyer attribution and one compact barcode are placed at the edge. They never sit between staves or over notation.
Data by design
Scoremark needs the PDF long enough to verify its clear margins, apply the attribution, and prepare your download. Source, preview, and personalized files then expire automatically; investigation uploads are deleted as soon as analysis finishes.
Retained for investigation
For a finalized copy, Scoremark keeps the buyer, order, purchase date, licensed quantity, attribution settings, signed lookup, page count, and file hashes. That compact record is what lets a future authenticated mark point back to the sale.
The workflow
Process an unlocked, finished score PDF. The source file is temporary.
Add the buyer, order details, and preferred mark settings.
Inspect every rendered page before the sale is finalized.
Download the personalized PDF with its authenticated edge mark before the temporary file expires.
Later, check an intact PDF or an image of the entire page against the retained sales record. Investigation uploads are deleted after analysis.
